Mayo Clinic.

I typed in, "Mayo Cinic, insomnia" in my search engine and came up with an incredible amount of insight into sleep disorders and the causes. It also includes a significant number of ways to combat the problem. It's a lot of reading but they seem to have thoroughly searched the cause, effects and treatments. I suggest anyone with the problem, take a look at it It is highly possible that there is a treatment suited to their needs. I skimmed over it to begin with but I will be reading every word fom here on in. Hope it helps you.     Mannie

Hello Mannie, I know you were reluctant to keep taking the benzodiazapine sleeping/anti-anxiety drugs due to their addiction potential (you remember the ones your doc prescribed the other day that you were reluctant to take) but these really are the best way to go. As an alternative I suggest you do some research on the tricyclic drug trazadone as this is often used for anxiety and insomnia and is effective whilst not being addictive. Look it up and maybee speak to your doc. Tell me what happens because we're all thinking of you sir.

God bless, Graeme.
