I am so glad you all are here and being there for me as well as the many others that use this site for the bettering of themselves. I know from my story this is of great help and could not do it without it. I remember one who put in so much time and helped someone in very bad shape emotionally to keep them alive and I applaud her for that act of love, but I just wonder how many lives are saved here actually as I am sure there are many that would end up committing suicide rather intentionally or not without getting help from here. I know for myself overdose is emminent unless I quit. Thanks to you all, Mike who is very grateful.

mike that was a terrific post.  with your attitude you are gonna make it all the way.  and be around here to keep helping others.  this is a wonderful place support.  we are all here for each other.  and i sure missed you while you were gone.  but i hope you had a good trip,

You hit the nail on the head with that post. I have said several times over the past few weeks that I would not have been able to have made it this far without this forum and I really believe that sticking around here is going to be key for me in recovery.

I can't agree more..great post...there is no way that i could of come this far without the people here, i have tried so many times before and wouldn't even make it a day. I don't know how many times i have layed down not knowing if i was going to wake up, i had taken so many pills but was so stoned that at the time i didn't care...
I thank god everyday for the people here!!
