Is it normal for only one side of my head to feel weird? Just y left side feels weird mosty but yet my whole head has the mental fogginess
I suffer from it bad and I am busy.... It makes me super depressed so I actually got on a antidepressant. I cannot wait for that to be gone, hut because I was dx with fibromalgia my doctor said it may never go way.. :((
I know the mental fog was very real for me. I could not focus, someone on here said it best, it felt like cottonballs in your head. For me it came and went, some days it would last all day, some days only for a bit. But it does pass, gets a little better everyday then one day it is gone.
You need to FORCE yourself to get up and take a shower. After you do, you WILL feel better. You have got to set up new routines and ways of doing daily tasks. The more you sit around focusing on how you feel and your symptoms, the worse it will be. Reading and posting on here is great, but you gotta get up and live life without pills. Sometimes being on here too much can get me thinking too much about pills, withdraw and symptoms. If you have to, take a shower, take a break, get up start some laundry, take a break, go for a brief walk, etc.
Today is day 5 and defiantly the most lazy feeling ice been. Don't even feel like taking a shower. I barely like to yesterday but I did. Is this normal?
It's good you post a lot it helps other addicts & you. I was a total zombie when I first quit. Couldn't concentrate, I could barely have a conversation. The mental fog will fade away once you start getting more sleep. Good luck to you.
Keeping yourself busy will help you feel better. Our endorphins have been on hold for quite some time so you need to get them going again.
That's how I feel...I've been glued to my iPhone for hours now just talking to ppl on here.
Awkwardly talking to all of you guys eases my mind more then anything else
hey dont apologize all your questions are helping me get through the day, the more i talk on here the better i feel, it makes me feel good to know im helping others, sounds kinda sappy, but whatever lol
I thought that was just from old age, lol.
I know I'm redicilous I'm sorry...
lol marlatt you are over analyzing your symptoms, do something to get your mind off of it, i know thats near impossible, but anything you didnt feel before that you feel now is more than likely all withdrawals, i dont really know what ppl mean by mental fog, unless they mean cant remember things you could easily b4, and i dont smoke weed lol, of course ive heard long term methadone use makes you have a bad memory, but anyhow i think its your brain stressed from all the other symptoms that causes it, keep going you doing great!!!
It felt like i was in a fog. Just simple tasks were hard to do. I would forget what i was doing or why i was doing it! Couldnt remember anything......the fog does lift and it feels great!!!
