My first 4 days were rough but when I woke up from the little sleep I had gotten, I truly that morning felt better.  I went to the zoo that day and walked about 5 miles in 4 hours, not hard exercise but I stretched my legs say the least...I find myself enjoying life and knowing that if I ever pick up again even if it is 1 month, 1 year, or 10 years later I will pick up right where I left off.  Mike I hope you keep it up I am comparing my sobriety next to yours cause I always get in on your posts too.  Keep it up man we got ya.

Take everything i have if it will help me stay clean cuz in the end i will be the richest person in the world.  I will have ME back and my kids will have their mom back.  Doesnt get any better than that.

ditto- "things don't create happiness and if they do it's very short lived. it's easy to be "happy"  when everything is going good,the $ is in the bank, everyones healthy etc..But much harder when it's not going good. I think that a lack of being unthankful for what we do have etc..contributes to unhappiness.. I have met people with way worse going on that are the happiest people i know..Which is why i decided..drama,trauma,etc..isn't bringing this girl down!!!

hey I would give all away save what my girls need to have contentment.... that is what is true in my heart not all the joking. Joking helps get us there though...
