There seems to be a lot of success on this forum lately and it's so nice to read the positive posts, it gives us all hope to see that it is possible to get and stay clean. Lets all brag about our clean time regardless of how long. It's something to be proud of because addiction is so tough and  has taken it's toll on so many of us, but we are all still here kicking some ***. I am 67 days clean from cocaine today and gonna make it this time, I KNOW IT. Brag away everyone.

quit an 80-100 mg tab habit 345 days ago...had been susing for 3 years...back to work day 5..exercise and the thomas recipe helped me immensely

thanks, everyone....although i'm just barely into my third day (i think...i already have trouble remembering, ugh!) without lortabs, and i feel like a babe in the woods here, i have to say that everyone who posted here has given me some MUCH NEEDED hope....and thanks corey for your kind words about us babes in the woods here with just a day or a few under our belts.....i still feel totally and completely crummy and nauseous almost all the time (will that ever go away???), but i have to believe that i'm going in the right direction at least, no?  even with the aches and pains and headaches and a cold on top of it and everything....it's GOT to get better, right?

thank you and God bless....and i hope i can post a year from now and say i'm 365 days clean!!!

Day 35....from the darn pillls....never going to go back (Vicodin).. feeling better all the time and i know it's only going to get better.....I don't think I could have made it alone and that's where all of you helped me....Just a nudge of encouragment or a litttle note to say I wasn't alome in this battle and I made it past 1 month.....It's funny how much stronger a group can be than an individual...Bless all of you wo share your triumphs and setbacks....  35 days The person writing this is actually ME not some hazy, withdrawn, detached person....who's trying to fool everybody....

35 DAYS - 35 Days  I am so pleased for all of you who have at least 1 day your on your way to reclaim life...go do it...

No Hydrocodone for 20 days!   I actually had to count on my fingers how many days, HUGE step from those first days when I was counting the hours...


I laughed today.  I laughed and I wasn't high.  

Seriously couldn't have done it without the support of this forum.  You all rock.

And for all of you out there in those first few days of detox hell, you WILL get through it.  Feel the pain and suffering, and the power of knowing you will never have another day 4 or 5 or 6.....

Congrats to everyone for being clean today. Whether your 5 days or 5 years, it only takes one bad decision in the day/moment to lose it. When that happens you have to pick yourself up, try to understand why and move on and keep your focus on another day..Guilt and anger over losing your clean date is wasted energy that you need to use as positive energy for your recovery. So congrats to everyone who caved today and is planning on their new tomorrow too. Just hit some nasty bumps myself and wanted to use but didn't. Wheww . 104 days clean from opiates.

Jeez, It'll be a year (end of Jan) that I have been Off the Pain Pills...that's the good news.
Bad news is,  It'll be a year (end of Jan) that I have been on Sub.  OMG, I'm just realizing this.   That $ucks.  I never wanted to be on Sub for a year....but here I am.  :(

I am about 4 hours away from 5 days w/o vicodin I still have some rough moments but reading what everyone here has wrote is giving me all the hope I need! I cannot wait until next year at this time to be able to say it has been 1 year clean! thank you to all who post here :)
