Morphine in after surgery

When I just went into the Hosp. for neck surgery the nurses would come in ALL during the day and night,while doing other things they were also putting "something" in my I.V. bag. Someone told me that could be morphine? Does that sound right?  Just woundering cuz these w/d`s were/are way worse than the darvocet ones. If anyone has a thought??

I think the older we get the longer they drag out too.

just 24 hrs. guess I was just trying to piece together why this detox was soooo much worse. Day #6  had 2 long walks ate well no naos needed. getting better.
How you do`n ?  Again great to see some "old schoolers " here it really helps.

Why don't you ask your doctor what they gave you? I had Morphine after reconstructive back surgery but it was only for a few days, not enough to cause withdrawal. How long were you on the IV?
