My Addiction specialist told me this. I had no idea.

I just found out there is a Pills Anonymous (PA). You can google it and the site comes right up. I have always had a problem with AA and NA but PA seems like it's right up my alley. A lot of the people on that forum sound just like US on this forum. It is still the 12 steps but I just indentified with it more. Just thought I would let you guys know if you didn't know about that already. I am going to try and sleep now but I doubt it will work. (((Hugs))) Ggin35

I hope I didn't offend you! I am so happy it AA and NA helps everyone it helps. I just felt like with me it was like putting a square peg into a round whole. I just think I might have more in common with PA. It's still the same principles, just a different type of addiction. I feel that we are the same in the fact that we are all addicts. But I couldn't relate to a CA meeting because cocaine is not my drug of choice. See what I mean? Hope I didn't offend you! Ggin35

Just out of curiosity, what sort of "problems" do you have with AA/NA? I am just wondering because it has saved many people's lives, including mine.
