I am so proud of you!! I know you don't know me and vice versa but we all know the intensity of what an addiction to pills and other drugs is. You sound very motivated and I congratulate u on your awesome choice:) life will be so much better without being a slave to something looking so small but in reality is so huge. You can do it:)
Congratulations on making this commitment and hanging in there. You should start to feel better soon. Just stay the course.. It takes awhile for sleep patterns to get right again, but you should start feeling a little better every day. Be sure and eat, at least light meals, or drink ensure. Don't let yourself get so depleted that you get too weak. Congratulations on your little daughter, and remember, this is an awesome gift for her, but also for yourself.
i am on day 20 & just woke up from 8 hrs of sleep !! never thought it would happen but it did..congrats on your clean time..soo worth all the agony of wd....you just gave your daughter the best gift.. her mother !! good job...sara
What an inspirational post. You are a very determined girl to quit c/t and get those pills out of your life. Your baby girl is very lucky to have such a wise mom! You are so right, time is not your friend while detoxing, but is surely your friend in recovery. Each day you'll get stronger and healthier. The sleep will come. Try the yogi calming tea or sleepy time before bed. Hot tubs saved my jittery butt post detox. Take your new bundle for a brisk walk in the stroller to get some exercise. Most of all just wanted to say congrats on your week clean!
