HI....YOU need to have a family discussion and make it CLEAR she is to keep her meds out of your sight if you dont do this you will use again just having the pills in the house is a risk factor you also need to know there is a lot more to this then just quiting the pills this is a much bigger thing addiction is cunning baffling and powerful it will draw you in when your weak you need to get involved with a support group like N/A or A/A and work threw it it is the very way we think and reason that needs to change to overcome this.....the cravings wont go away on there own you need to learn how to cope with them and your mom needs to know YOU have a problem with the pills our secrets keep us sick as you will work threw this you willl find there are reasons you use it is the escape where after not the pills it would be best if your mom got a lock box for her pills my wife use to keep hers in a safe I wish you all the best with your new sobriety take the proper precautions to stay clean good luck and God bless.......Gnarly
I have sliped up so many times. Its just so hard to b alone with these thoughts.
Please don't, I know what you mean though. It is the addiction talking. I have slipped up several times, and really,regret it later.
I hope it does because i can get into her pills anytime, like right now she is sleeping and i know where she keeps them. It is so so tempting.all i really won't is that last high.
I know what you mean, my family is the same way. You do not realize it at the time, but the mental addiction is worse than the physical. It will get better, slowly, more every day. God bless.
