NOT SO GOOD NOW

I was doing fairly well until about two hours ago. My muscles and bones ached and no appetite, but I was still able to clean house. I have not had a fentanyl patch on my back since Sunday night.
Now I feel like electricity is shooting through my whole body and I have the most awful taste of metal in my mouth. I've taken so many showers I look like a prune. I went for a walk even though it's raining. Cramping and anxiety have joined in, too. I still haven't taken any ultram. I get vitamin B shots once a week. Thanks to all that have supported me. I'm gonna go out on the back porch and listen to the rain....thanks for listening. Take care all.....LS

Wow do I remember those feelings in the legs!!!!

Dont worry to much about ultram so much, that is what I used to help me and I didnt have any WD's from it at all. The leg thing was the worst thing because it lasted into the second month for me. It did get less and less though.

I found that if you can get buspar along with the ultram it helps alot. Only use when you try to sleep, or when the feelings get a bit overwhelming.

The only thing im taking now is blood pressure meds, and only when I can afford them. I know I should be on them all the time, but zero income for 3 years, and zero insurance since january. Hopefully I win the SSI hearing coming up. Second one so im a bit apprehensive lol.

Well I hope your legs calm down, and you are able to get some rest.

hey hun, sorry you are feeling so badly. i know where you're coming from. i have felt all that, minus the electric jolts, but had the achiness and i had the restless leg stuff. but again, i am sorry you feel so rotten, but look up...it does and will get better then you will be through all of it. just a little bit longer, you have done so well this far. just hang in there. it will be so worth it for you. love ya sweetie.....cin

You can listen to the rain and know that this will all pass. If you need it take it, if you can make it, then don't. Only you can make the call. Minute by minute if you have too. I wish I was a quarter as strong as you. You will be ok, and a couple days from now, you will look back and say "I went thru hell, but I am a strong woman who made it thru the storm, and now I am on the other side in the sun" You know I don't post on this forum unless absolutely neccessary, and I am posting. Thanks for posting. I know you don't do it anymore. I feel special to have you as a friend and probably the only one who understands why I have to be outdoors to be happy. It's odd that you mentioned listening to the rain because I was laying on the porch swing listening. I'm hoping it doesn't get any worse but you know how fentanyl is. It doesn't like to let go.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are feeling so miserable. I do know exactly what you described feels like and it is just awful. Do you have any Klonopin or Valium or any benzo that you can take to take the edge off. I know you have the Ultram/Ultracette, I completely understand why you don't want to take them. Maybe tomorrow if you're still feeling this badly you could call your Dr for a few benzo's to get you through. They really were a life saver for me, I wouldn't have made it if I had to live through that electric shock stuff w/o them.
I feel for you girl. I so know what you are going through and if I can do anything I'm here for you. You have my e-mail I'm pretty sure and my IM is the same if you need to IM me, I may not show that I'm on but that doesn't always mean I'm not there. You'll be in my prayers. Hang in there it's almost over (the physical stuff anyway).

Sorry,    the taste of metal in your mouth sounds like your acidic level is extremely low. I've had this before and throws off everything. Fresh fruits & vegs help.Can't remember exactly which ones. You'll know if its real bad if you put a piece of gum in your mouth and it just sort of seperates and disenegrates instead of sticking together. I know  sounds "weird" but if this is the problem & you correct it you"ll feel 100% better.

Hey girl,,, I dont really know what to say exept I have been in the same place you have been before.  The electric zaps the anxiety, your so tired and you feer if you fall asleep that you might now wake up,,, It is awful,,, But, I know one thing, you are ONE HELL OF A STRONG LADY!!!!!  If anyone here can do this, then that damn sure is you,,, Keep the faith... Fladdict, Gypsygirl, Yoda, Lizzie, badeggs.....you guys have always been here for me. I'm trying not to take any ultram but if it becomes much worse I will. I don't want to have to w/d from them later. I appreciate each of you in a special way. Your posts gave me reinforcement to look at the bigger picture. I won't always feel like this. I'm gonna get better. Thanks fish for your post, also.

Aw honey so sorry you feel so bad.... do not feel ashamed if you have to take the Ultram for a few days to get you through this... Did you ask your doc for clonidine???  It will help with the restlessness, anxiety, legs, heck it helps with almost everything... I would call and ask.. It was my saving grace..
If you need anything I will be here all night for the most part, hubby is working tonight... I will turn on my messanger too...
