in my profile there is a list of NSAIDS that can help you can alternate from advil and tylonal every 2 hours helps with the pain more tahn one or the other
i have pain issues also, been in recovery and all but still had pain issues and i have been depressed
my doc gave me cymbalta, i asked a few people in na that take it for chronic pain, all but one said it helps,
i am still on the fence about taking it, maybe someone here has tried it
i am so scared to take a pill, even when my doctor says its ok
i know where that got me before
i hope you feel better soon
OTC there is not an awful lot..ibuprophen being one of the best out there..how much r u taking? muscle relaxers, neurontin, lyrica, rx anti-inflammatories may help more depending on ur pain type...ice and heat help mine quicker than anything...phenylalnine is an amino acid that has pain relieving properties as does many other herbs/supplements...ashwanda, pregnenolone, celedrin, 5htp, magnesium, st johns wort, all can hellp with pain and everyone is different..good luck and try googling pain relief alternatives specific to your pain problem
I have chronic back pain and I use Napoxian. It is an anti inflammatory and works well for me. The only thing is to make sure you drink lots of water and don't lay down for about a half and hour after taking, since it will eat a hole in you stomach. I also like to meditate to mark saylors guided meditation on you tube. I love meditation and it truly helps me with my pain. It helps me relax and that seems to relax my mind which by the way I think is half of problem sometimes!! lol. Take care and all the best to you.
you could trt stronger NSAIDS similar to ibuprofen but way stronger...unfortunately after taking opiates/opioids your body acts and makes you beleive that the only pain reliever that will work for your chronic pain is an opiates...it changes your brain truly....there is toradol which is probably one of the strongest anti-inflammatory drugs out there, talk to a pain management doctor and tell him your story and the honest truth, and they will have a few great options for your pain...the last thing is to go back on opiates
