Need help!!

Sorry to bother anyone but I think I jumped from a high dose of oxy done to nothing. So far I have taking 20 mg of methdone and still feel W/D creeping still. Just want to know a safe dose of meth to stop this insanity. Any kind of advice would be much appreciated.

                        Thanks ,

just remember that if you continue to use, you are assured to have to go through this same thing again and again. If you can, atm, try to look forward and imagine never having to feel that again. The only way to assure it, is to get off of it, and you can do it eventually. I hope you can find a good reason to quit either now, or once you feel well, put a plan in place to finally rid yourself of this crap.

One thing you should know, is that methadone is a much much more lengthy withdrawal than most other opiates, so be careful. It's not just five days and your finished. It's a lot more. I would quit while I could if I were you, but I get that you have to be ready.

I hope you're ok.

Personally I wouldn't recommend staying on methadone either. I cannot blv methadone isn't staving off withdrawals, but I guess everyone is different. When I was in w/d from oxy, methadone didn't make me high, but it made me well.

Just hang in there and try not to take excess methadone. I don't know how methadone isn't touching it, but I understand you are trying to get through a very hard moment.

Just try to do things to ease your withdrawal until you can find some other option. Is the methadone prescribed by a doctor? If it sin't, then make sure that's what you are taking, and if it is then contact your doctor and tell them it isn't working.

You have to be in a good head space, or else withdrawal feels so much more painful. Soothe your symptoms as much as you can with hot baths, music, or thinking of something good that you can look forward to when the hell is over.

I'm so sorry your'e going through this right now. Are you doing it by choice or bc you simply ran out of the Oxy? The reason I ask, is bc when you aren't doing it by choice, it feels so much harder.

I feel inadequate to help you, but please don't hurt yourself. That's the ultimate end, and as painful as this is, your body can and will get past it eventually if you don't use.

methadone builds up in your system, so be careful dosing double and triple.

Sorry to keep bothering everyone, but I'm at my witts end. My first day prescribed 10mg methdone and I'm almost full blown W/D. I cannot take it anymore, i already took 20 mg of meth which feels like it is intensifying the W/D I feel like blowing my brains out to end this. Really can't take it. Can't sleep for two days going on 3 now took my 3rd meth 10 mg and still nothing. My pistol is starting to look like a viable option at this point. SOMEONE please talk to me. I'm hurting and very scared

Withdrawal with methadone will be there no matter what. Someone on this forum tapered over an 8 month period and still felt extreme withdrawls. Methadone individualized. Someone should be a long sbetter answer your question. Until then hang tight. I too am battling the dearth grib of opiates at going cold turkey from 110mgs. Today is day 8. Stay positive you can do it:)
