You hit it right on the head with the depression. I legitimately have pain, which causes depression...and the pills numb everything. So it works, but I'm really missing out on life altogether. I must get into an aftercare program or I will use again. I'm in my 24th hour and feeling ok...not too bad! I'm so scared of what the next 2-3 days hold in store for me. When did the withdrawals peak for you? Thanks for cycling in on me...means a lot to have the support!
Just checking on you. Hope your still hanging in there with us.
~Hi there! You need to address why you take the pills in the first place. Some its because of pain issues and they got addicted as time went on and others because of underlying depression as in my case. Opiates screw up those dopamine receptors in the brain and it can take a while to rebuild them-hence the depression. I was placed on a mood stabilizer and AD and its helped sooo much. This is a sh*tty game isnt it! aftercare has helped me as well I wish you the best and keep us posted! ~Bkitty
Thank you for responding. I was taken back...very sweetly...by you congratulating me on my previous time. That means a lot to me!
I'm not feeling terrible so far. Feeling a little hot and that's about it. I'm going to drink dome tea and go to bed. Yes, I know Thomas Recipe. I have Klonopin that I take .5mg a day for general anxiety. I'm fortunate to not get anxiety when detoxing. At least I haven't.
I'm grateful that there are others out there like myself... I am however sorry to know that you too are in pain.
Hey there. I am a 41yr old female. With two great kids. I am your typical soccer mom. This monster dosent care about social standing. But I am proud of your three weeks. Think about this. You did it before you can and will.do it again. I have been taking tabs then percs then oxy for over five years. I fell off a ladder. I understand pain. I had six surgeries. Four knee surg ending with a total knee replacement. That's when the oxys started. Do you know the Thomas recipe.
