Norco withdrawl

I just took my last 4 norco and can't refil my script until Friday. I don't want to go through withdrawls again. I'm terrified of them. I live with my family and they will know that something is going on. And theres no way that I can tell them. I don't know what to do. I have Ativan, sleeping pills and a nerve medication for my back and I'm wondering if any of that will help me get through it. Please help me

I finally took a sleeping pill around 4 am and got 4 solid hours of sleep. If I could just sleep I think I'd be ok but no m. The sleep is the worst. I don't have the s bit instead I have it in my arms. I think it the same thing I can't keep them still and they hurt so bad!

Don't quit on your clean time. You are going through  the toughest part now. I have several bad discs and arthritis in my back, hands and knees. I have been on norco for years and in the last several months I noticed that I was counting pills before my refill was due. That NOT normal behavior. You said you take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Norco is a short term pain killer. More than likely your script reads 4X a day meaning every 4-6 hours X 1. That's how mine always read. If you don't want to live like this, there is hope. I felt the same way. I am 30 days clean today and mentally strong. I am struggling with pain but I'm working on alternative treatment. It's out there. If you work as hard to find it as you do to find ways to get more pain killers or substitutes you will find what works for you. Physical pain is easier(for now) to deal with vs the mental side of active addiction. You CAN do it!

I'm laying here at. 3:30 in the morning wishing I could sleep and that my arms would stop driving me crazy but that doesn't look like its going to happen anytime soon. I hate feeling this way! I hope it passes soon and I am able to get some sleep. Tool a sleeping pull and a muscle relax or about an hour ago and still nothing

hey there, question- have you researched and or spoken with your doctor about other options for your herniated discs? that might be your key right now..? i dont want you to go through WDs either, but there are a lot of things you can do to get through it. from my experience, and from what you say you have been taking, you shouldnt be too bad, but everyone is, of course, different.
dear, dont let the whole"real script, or fake script" trick you. you are obviously short on your pills, which means abuse has occurred, the pills are like little devils waiting for you. prescribed or not. (i know you already know this)
but anyway, you have to really look inside you, and outside yourself.
Do you want to be hooked on those norcos?
or do you want to figure out how to keep your pain in check, without giving in to those pills that are so hard to control?
i am praying for you, i am going through a really shittastic taper, trust me. im not perfect, i just want to help you, with love.
talk to ur doc
???

I have abused them in the past up to 200 mgs a day but I quit in January. And then started again in February when I got a real script for 3 herniated disk and since then I have taken them as prescribed only taking a few extra when I really needed it for pain. I'm allowed 4 a day and usually do really well with that. 2 in the morning and 2 at night occasionally the pain is so intense I h e taken 1 or 2 during the day to get by. I'm not sure I want to give them up for good because I'm not sure I can function with the pain.

Im not sure what kind of advice to give here because Im not sure if you are here to stop all together. But I have a question. How come you ran out early? Did you have increased pain issues or abuse? Im sorry that you are facing withdrawal. It *****. Can you play it off that you caught a virus? Maybe.Sending ((Hugs))~Bkitty

Just look back on your life and look at the name IMDONE and honestly think what you want. Its your life. Only you can stop. You know the withdrawls are going to be horrible. It gets worse and worse everytime. Ive stopped and started again many times. We are addicts Im only 9 days clean now and seeing a little light but I also have been where you are where Ive had a few days sober and then refilled or got some from friends? Are you pregnant right now? Please dont think Im preaching at you and Im no saint at all. What kind of help are you asking for? To just get by a few days or stay sober? I know that today Im doing no pills but tomorrow I have no clue what games my mind will play with me. I feel like Ive been through hell many times over all because I chose to keep popping pills. Im so sorry for everything your going through but If you are able to stop your life will get better. Its up to you what you want. The only way I was able to stop was when I weaned and jumped. I will pray for you to make the right decision. If you absolutly need them then try to take them as prescribed. I know I can not do it. I always take more. Ive never been able to take them as prescribed for the last few years I think for me once I passed a certain limit my body and mind take over and I am an addict and nothing I can do or try will change that. I have to accept the fact of what I am and what Ive done. Its up to you what you want. For me when I passed the point of no return I was never able to take them as prescribed anymore. I tried and tried. Look deep into your heart and think what God wants you to do?

If you have legit pain then talk to your doc. There are alternative meds out there. If you keep using Norco you will be back at this same spot in your life over and over again. I speak from (a lot of stupid) experience.

I don't know what I want. I want to feel better. But I do have pain and it drives me insane. I don't usually run out early but this month I did. I think if I make it through these next few days then I'll just quit I'm not gonna go through this again.

Are you getting a refill? Are you even thinking about it? If so, then you aren't ready. What do you really want to do?
