Will someone please help me out? Valium

I need some help. I have tapered Valium over the past few years off and on. I am down to 2mg starting last night, stayed at 2.5mg for a couple weeks. Where would you go from here? Feel free to message me.

I only dropped 1/2mg yesterday and am anxious to wrap it up. I wonder if this taper is worth going through hell for months? If the Doctor wanted me to quit at 5mg would 2mg be too much? I believe he would have given me another heart attack as miserable as this taper has been. Atthebeach has helped a lot but unable contact. A couple others have helped as well. Thanks. Now at the end it's getting real tired.

Please don't say you can't give taper advise. All the help I have gotten was from here. message me. No Doctor will help me taper around here. They said they get people off it in a week in the hospital. I'm not in a hospital. Besides, their long term success rate stinks. The Doctor wanted me to go from 15mg, to 10mg for a week, then 5mg for a week, then stop. You can't hurt me as bad as that Doctor wanted to hurt me. I didn't think he was right since I had heart attack in 2011 and got a stent in my heart. Another heart Cath in 2012 that was unnecessary. It was a new Doctor that wanted to stop my Valium after 12 years on it and my Doctor moved away. Was Rx'd 40mg a day at first. I didn't take 40mg a day long at all, I did take 30 for some time, then 20mg, to 15 a year ago.

Any help will really be appreciated. Ready to stop.

My ex tried to come off diazies in two weeks and had a psychotic episode, there were threats from the clinic and doctor thy they wanted my help to section him. Obv I didn't agree but be careful there man. I'm trying to get the doc to put me back up on vallies, years back I was on 6 blues a day, after getting totally clean they took me off them too (was on meth and H ) they were the only thing that worked for me but I'm going through a hell of a fight to get them back off them. I understand why you want to get off them as I was told they give you brain damage to an extent over time, not sure how true that is though.Only thing that keep me sane and off anything else. Let us know how you get on, but please be careful!

Barry- With your cardiac status and medically history it would be foolish for anyone to give you advice about what you should do. Almost everything I can think of would be stressful to you so I won't take the risk of offering any solution.

You've done so well getting down to this small amount.
