Yes go to work. You can say you aren't feeling too well as an excuse why you might drag around but the distraction will be a Godsend. ANYTHING to get ourselves to stop thinking about running and taking pills is a good thing, especially after 2 days. Working will help you steal minutes from the clock and get you closer to feeling better. It might help you sleep too.
You are close to turning the corner on this. Hang in there, we're pulling for you!!!

I wouldnt put any more meds into your body right now. All you do is confuse it. The OTC supplements are good but nothing else.
Eat bananas as they are rich in potassium and keep taking those baths. If you have some epsom salt put that in bath too. Gatorade is good to drink, just keep pushing the fluids. You can do this!!!

It is quiet this morning (Fridays usually are) so hang in there and check back later for more responses.
And, there is a product called "Hylands Restless Leg" which many swear by. I believe you can get it at Wal-Mart and some bigger drug store chains.

oh and the pins and needles.....restlessness, hot, cold sweats.....oh boy!!

The amount you take and the amount of time taking it IS a factor, along with several other things. Anyway, day 3 is probably your turn around point. I suspect you will begin to feel better come tomorrow.
If it is possible to take some time and soak in a hot bath before work, it will help ease the rls. If you work on your feet, do as much moving as you can while there. Come home and take another hot bath.
I am certain someone can help you with the sleep issues.
