I do have some anxiety, but I had that before the Nucynta. Though the Nucynta really amplified it. I have some minimal situational depression but again, not related to the Nucynta. It took a long time before I felt back to myself with it. I would keep drinking lots of fluids and I hope you're definitely working with your doctor with this. All my records list Nucynta under allergies even though it's not a true allergy. I hope you're feeling better.
Yikes, I'm so sorry that you had such a bad reaction to this drug! Did you call your doctor? I hope you start feeling better soon! Keep us posted!
Thanks for your reply. How long did it take this to get out of your system?
I went back on perceot. You may not want to answer this but do you also have depression and aniexty? If so what are you taking for this.
If you check my posts you'll find my experience with Nucynta. It was a terrible drug for me. I felt like a crazy person. I was on it 11 days because they told me it needed to "metabolize properly" in my body. I have never felt anything like it. I felt like I could feel the flood racing through my veins and they felt like ice. I could sleep more than 10 minutes a day. I was afraid of what could happen. I also had some hallucinations that were very disturbing.
There are people who seem to think this is a good med but it's not for me. I wouldn't take it again for all the money in the world.
What medicine are you switching to? Drink plenty of fluids to get the Nucynta out of your system.
