Opiate Detox and over heating?

I have been on prescribed opiates for my hip that I broke in '09. In the past 2 weeks I have tapered off my 15mg. MSContin 2x/day and 10mg. Oxycodone 4x/day with pretty good success. Now that I'm down to 1/4 oxy.tab 3-4x/day I find that when that tiny amount starts to subside, I get very hot even though I'm in the AC. This is weird because I have detoxed before and don't recall ever having this problem. Is it just me or is it a normal part of withdrawal?

Thanx, I figured as much. The whole thing is a bummer and I've slowed the detox/taper down a bit. I'm taking 1/2 a 15mg. MSContin 2x/day.......saw my orthopaedist today and everything is OK with my hip pins and shoulder replacement. Pain is my New Normal! LOL   Channah
