Opiate withdrawl day 5 Will suboxone set me back
I'm on day 5 of heroin withdrawl and took half a suboxone strip this morning. Is it going to set my withdrawals back as long as I don't take anymore? Or is it going put off my withdrawals for a few days only to come back later?
When I went to inpatient drug treatment they gave me suboxone to ease my heroin withdrawals. They tapered me over an eight day course. I suffered no other withdrawals from it. IMO it helps.

It will push your w/d back a little bit, but not dramatically if you only took 1/2 of an 8mg strip. But I wouldn't advise taking anymore if you want to complete this w/d!

Ok. Thanks so much. No more suboxone. I'm going to inpatient rehab any day now and I don't want to be detoxing there.
