Out of Meds

I woke up today knowing I had to track my meds down.  It usually worked for me, but today not so much.  

I am taking Nucynta ER 150 every 12 hours.  I put in a call to my doctor saying I am out, they gave me a hard time on the phone and said he will call me back.  I have been challenged from them all the way to the pharmacies themselves.  I have an appointment for October 15th because I am done with it.  I would rather live in pain then deal with being labeled a drug seeker.

So, it seems I can't get my meds, the doctore hasn't called back, and I guess I am in a world of hurt the next couple of days?  I thought about checking into the hospital as well.  I just don't know what to expect.

i had a very bad experience with Nucynta.  You can read it in my posts.  It was also impossible to  get in my town and it was a pain to get it.  But if it's working for your pain, that's great.  But like Sarah asked, are you taking them as prescribed?  When I was in pain management a lot of times I'd forget that I needed a new script and it was difficult getting one the same day.

Hello ugh:  I joined this forum last saturday to get off a 10 year habit of at least 400 vicodins a day.  I did this because I got busted by the pharmacy and state for filling too soon.  I dont know if my story will help you, but feel free to highlight my name and go see my posts from the beginning.  I was not planning to detox, was not prepared for it.....but the support has been wonderful here.  It is day 6 and I am so glad to not live with always wondering if I have enough pills....do I have money to get off the street.....can I come up with yet another excuse to the dr. about why I need it early?  Let me know if my story helps you.  Take care and good luck
