Oxycontin,Suboxone,Time tables

Heres my dilema, Ive been eating oxys for almost 2 yrs.The Dr. has me on 40 mg. I went from eating 4 of them a day for about 7 months, to 1 week now with eating 3 for 3 days, 2 for 2 days and im out , I ate my last one at 11:30 today. I did have a try at this last month but for many reasons it didnt happen. It is on for sure right now and i feel like ****. How long till i can take a Suboxone.I have a scrip for 90   ..8-2MG is what the label says,My Dr. told me to wait till the next day but no time frame.Ive read all kinds of stuff on here and im wanting to eat one right now, but something tells me to wait 24 hrs, in other works 11:30 tommorow.Same time i took my last one today.I would love to feel good right now,Who Can help me here?

How did it work for you at that point? What did you end up doing overall? From then til now if u dont mind?

from my personal experiencwe with suboxone and starting it, defintely wait until around the 14 hr. masrk from the last dosing of oxys. I was a heavy user of oxycontin and heroin for two years and went to the hospital to detox and startt suboxone, it was the weekend so I had to wait from saturday at 10:30 am till monday at 5:0pm, needless to say i was in pure hell it was insane. I had gone through long withdrawals befroe in droughts and bad money tiems, but thst took the cake. It was mostly what i created in my head, but you cant control that when youre addicted to opiates. youre brain changes. But waiting that long I felt almost instant relief and thought ti was a miracle. Weell after starting the suboxone and outpatient treatment I ended up at the amx dose of 32 mgs per day but was doing well. I was also on 3 mgs of klonopin during the day and 4 mgs of lorazepam at night for my xanax and benzo addiction. Well i went for 6 months clean and thenw hile riding on my borthers skateboard fell, shattered my wrist and fractured, but i didnt realize it wasnt just a bad sprain until two months later when teh pain even with sub was unbearable. being an addict my sense of pain has diminished from what it once was but this was not something I could jsut look past so i got an mria nd cat scan done and they found out how abd i messed it up. well they wanted to put me back on opiates for aqwhile to treat the pain, i was apprehensive but confident with the help of the supportive friends and family i have i could do i and get back on sub again when needed they put me on ms contin, well after being on that for three weeks and being casted,  i had to be reinducted back on sub.the time frame on getting on sub is all depending on the opiate used before methadonea dn long lasting opiates are a lot longer of a wait to start sub, but hydros and percocet generally are safe from any bad feelings after the 12 hr. mark, i recomend the alst dosage clsoe to dinner time and sleeping as much of the time as you can off then stating the sub ti will make a world of difference and you can quit the vicious cycle of opiate addiction if you are committed. but be careful suboxone can be addictive too, be weery as long as youre committed to your recovery you should be good to go, good luck to you

when i statred the subs i went to the website and it said to dose after mild to moderate w/ds were present. they even went on to describe to what level, mild being a few beads of sweat on your forehead, moderate being full sweat, hot/ cold flash, leg pains, etc for me it was 14 hrs after my last oxy.

He said to put under tongue and dissolve,he said if i wasnt in withdrawl they just wouldnt work,he said if i ate oxys while on them ,i would just pee them out,and i was eating 5 to 6 of them a day for awhile,my girlfriend has a surgery in the morning now and i have to take her, idont know if i can make it again.
