Thanks for that NOAH..............I will sleep well and hopefully kick this **** once and for all...
There is no way you are going to overdose during the night, Lets think about this 3-4 years on lortab. And 6 months on lorcet which is only a 2.5 mg increase in your opiates. Trust me you have a very high tolerance for opiates, I wouldn't give it a second thought about the not waking up theory, You would have to take about 500mg of hydrocodone to overdose, and you would more than likely throw up first, or become very nauseous. Relax and sleep well---------------NOAH
Forgot to ask, what is CNS depressants?
opps sorry I'm on a lap top so the typing is a little harder for me, didn't mean to misspell your post name........just had to say that.....
Thanks for the info, yea I do feel fear of sleeping and not waking up, I had my liver and other blood work done about a 6 months ago and everything was fine, of course I had gone in for other things, didn't tell Doc I was concerned about my liver due to drug abuse, but like I said everything came out fine, at that time anyway. I read other posts and see the amount some are taking anywere from 10 to 20 daily and I wonder why the my small amount compared to those is effecting me so much? I know it doesn't matter I am still killing myself, and that is the last thing I want, but its sooo freaking hard to stop, bet you never heard that one :) thanks for the response. So wait2long are you saying that it is a real possability for me to go to sleep and not wake up? Are there other symptoms before this happens or am I already at that deadly symptom? I probably don't make sence, but hopefully you get the point. Let me know when you can........again thanks for the info...... Haven't discussed the daily amount of tylenol with anyone really. And I do yawn a lot in the morning, but not the weeping eyes. I take Ibprofen OTC and pepcid for stomach acid sometimes but I do stay away from any extra tylenol. The Lorcet has been the last 6 months to a year now.
Yup. I had it too..the breathing thing. I also the blurry vision you described. I had a wrist problem that would not go away. I thought it was carpal tunnel. About two weeks clean, it just went away. I don't think that we realize just how much damage we do to ourselves with these intense meds.
Hello and Welcome, I was just reading your post, The depression in breathing could be a sign your dose is too high. I know for a fact you are consuming to much tylenol 4550 daily, the max dose is 4000 without causing liver damage. This is probably at the route of your problems, Have you discussed the dose of tylenol you are taking on a daily basis. When is the last time you had your liver enzymes checked out. I think your due! Do you wake up in the morning drug sick as in weeping eyes and constant yawning? What other OTC medications do you take? Low blood pressure usually means you could be over medicated. How long on the Lorcet 10/650 and did you have any problems before you were moved up on the hydrocodone and acetaminophen,
Again welcome------NOAH
the breathing part is a side effect of the drugs..it works on your central nervous system, and is a depressant, so therefore it does indeed slow down your breathing...i would be very careful...i remember the exact feeling you are talking about, almost afraid to go to sleep at times in fear of not waking up...CNS depressants kill people with this side effect daily...as for the rest i am not sure of but would get to a doctor about the vision problem...
