Q about NA meetings (different types, what do they mean)

as some of you might now Im going to my 1st NA meeting (today!!!). I have a question though, when they list the meetings they have different types and I must admit Im unsure of exactly what they mean. Could someone please tell me what the difference is between the following:
1- Spirit of Hope Group Discussion/Participation, Non-Smoking, Step, Tradition Open
2- New Attitude Group Discussion/Participation, Non-Smoking, Step, Tradition Open
3- Salvation Group Basic Text, Non-Smoking, Speaker Open

THe one I am going to is the middle one..  I assume the first one listed is more religious based, but the other two not sure about..         thanks a lot for any help...

No AA or NA group is religion based. It's a spiritual program. Basic Text meeting mean they talk about the Big Book. Step meeting is when they discuss one of the 12 steps. Discussion means that it's open for the people to discuss the things they're talking about. Speaker meetings are when a speaker tells his/her story and everyone just listens. Open meeting are open to anyone. Closed meetings are only open to those who have a problem with alcohol or drugs and want to stop (no spouses, medical personnel, or spectators unless they have a problem with alcohol or drugs). Steps & Traditions refer to the studies of the 12 steps and 12 traditions of NA.  They go over and discuss these basic principles of NA
The Basic Text study is just the general study of the Blue Book of NA which is the basic text.
All of the meetings usually have some starting agenda however, most will allow time to discuss anything that you need to discuss.  Glad your starting.  Its been a big help for me.
