Hi Millie, Sorry, it' can be slow here on weekends. You will have flu-like symptoms for 4-7 days. Most begin to feel better after day 4. You need to get some Immodium for diarrhea. You will have alot of trouble sleeping so if you can get something over the counter that will help some. You will get restless legs which will mostly bother you at night and keep you awake even more. If you have any valium or other benzos it will help with anxiety. Take lots of warm baths, drink alot of fluids and if you can get sports drinks with Potassium or banannas. Try to get up and move around as soon as possible. Go for walks and try to stay busy. Keep posting. It's a holiday weekend but someone will pop on. Good luck...you can do this. Corey
k and then what happens after the quit day?do i go through withdrawles and what kind of withdrawles?
HI mille34, You can participate in a Suboxone therapy or get a doctor who will give you the medications and other meds with instructions to taper down to zero. I am assuming you are not real knowledgable yet about treatment. I had the same wants to avoid a rehab center. Sometimes if things are bad or for other reasons it can be what one needs. For example I tapered down about a half 5 MG tablet every four days when I was in the lower number of pills. Go to work and stick with it until you succeed and realize relapse is part of the deal usually so if that happens get back on your horse and forgive yourself. You need a recovery plan to keep you sober, I do not tell people any particular method. I see it as a personal decision that is different for everyone and their needs. Despite my thinking I needed one.
