ROLL CALL :D

I've never initiated a roll call before so i thought what better time than now?

Share your drug free time with everyone and one thing that has helped you get to where you are today :)

Today is 214 days off Suboxone for me :) ...One of the major things that helped me the most was realising that i could turn my negative painkiller dependence experience into a positive one by studying to become a drug and alcohol counselor to help other people in situations like all of ours..I applied and got into the course and set the goal of finishing Suboxone before the course started...and i did it...and that's where i am today.

Feel empowered by the choice YOU have made...
Even if you're yet to reach day one you have already consciously made the decision to become drug free, you ARE on your way.

I really look forward to hearing from you all!

Seventy days today.  Feeling great, working out, eating healthy, and get more energy every day.  When I ask one of my friends how he is doing he says:  "Better than I deserve."  That kinda sums it up for me as well.  lol

I stopped taking my meds on Easter...so...3 1/2 months? something like that? Free :-).

I've been lurking here and there but life has kept me busy....and in lots of pain. I'm going back to see a new pain management doctor soon and plan to tell him that I don't want to go back on pain meds unless it's for short term while I do some physical therapy...but I can't manage this pain on my own, it's been crippling.

Still proud of myself for stopping the meds though :-)...still don't plan on going back for good, but I know I won't survive physical therapy without some help so maybe for the short term.

Also...hoping to get a positive pregnancy test next week..cross your fingers!

250 days. I still weigh and consider my addiction everyday. When I forget about my addiction it starts to occurr to me that I can use a couple of times a month and maintain that, no problem. At that point I've already relapsed.

No...this time I think about it everyday. And everyday I re affirm that I will be clean for today. Change the way you think. Congrats to all.

I just dont keep that kind of track of my time - although I used to. And back then I watched others on the forum brag about their clean time and wondered how they made it that far. It seems to be a different journey, with some similarities, for all of us. count me in!

1185 days here...........

Up until I quit drugs and alcohol, I had this fear of not being able to get high....losing that fear was one thing that has helped me stay clean.

Congrats to all on their clean time!!
