Record Clean Time

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note and a positive one at that. I am at my record clean time of 11 days. I reallly was not sure that I was going to make it through the work day clean, but I did it. I am home now, clean and proud to say that I am another day stronger and another day braver. I am so lucky to have found this forum and the support of the amazing people on here. I am still struggling with the mental aspect of my addiction. The dreams are intense and the cravings seem unbearable at times but I have learned to take it one hour at a time, and today resorted to one half hour at a time. It may sound a little sad, but it is how I got through. When I first joined this board, I truely believed that I could not survive one day without cocaine. While 11 days is not the most impressive number in the world, it is a long way from where I started and it is a huge step toward where I am going.

11 days is a great hurdle..past most of the physical stuff and feeling confident...feels good to feel good i am sure...congrats

i am so proud of you. coming off an 8-ball a day habbit like you did to 11 days clean and feeling better is a major accomplishment so hold your head high. those nightmares for me lasted about a month, and now i just get the occasional one. remember, you are healing and it takes time. ill never forget you told me this was impossible, but obviously your a h ell of a lot stronger than you think. CONGRATS
