Regarding Suboxone withdrawal

Two years ago I started taking 1mg of Suboxone a day for about 6 months. The rest of the way I've been at 0.5mg two times a day(morning and then at night). The goal is to get down to .25mg a day, but what should I expect? Just for kicks, let's say that I go the 'cold turkey route.' On a scale of 1-10, how bad would you expect the withdrawal to be at such a low dose and how long do you think it'll take to be over it? Sometimes I'm forced to go without them for a day and I get flu-like symptoms. I don't crave opiates anymore, with or without the Suboxone.

Just trying to get a general idea, I'd appreciate any and all feedback :)

The flu like symptoms are classic opiate withdrawals. Good for you if you can go a day. Everyone experiences pain differently, it is not a big dose but you body is still addicted. Try to go longer between taking a tablet. The fact you have only been taking them for 2 years I feel works in your favor. Just say to yourself it will pass how you are feeling. On about the 3rd day you may feel more discomfort, it will pass. Good luck. What ever you feel just remind yourself its ok, and expect to feel that way and it will pass.Good luck
