Roxy Addiction

I live on a pretty wealthy island, and on the surface it looks picture perfect. I recently found out what lies beneath all of that and have been struggling with how to handle it. Everyone who lives here loves roxy's, and have enough money to get illegal scripts under the table. Older people young ppl parents kids ur mailman, everyone I see is a drooling zombie. I personally had my own addiction because everywhere I turned there they are. But with recently getting clean has opened up my eyes to my best friend. Shes 19 in college has a well paying job comes from a caring family and has all the oppritunities in the world. Shes there but now i see shes not. Every day for the last year shes been snorting roxys like it's going out of style. I cant remeber the last time I havent seen her pupils the size of needles and her nodding out. Now its progressed over the last couple of months. Shes doing at least4-8 a day shes dropped a massive amount of weight fighting with everyone all the time failing her college classes and going to work messed up. Evertime I try to talk to her tell her im concerned her friends her family are she snaps. The other day she crashed her car. Shes throwing everything away and I know if she tried 2 stop shed have serious health problems. Im starting to fear for her life, I just want my friend back. PLEASE HELPPPPP

HI as a good friend you need to confront her about her addiction tell her what you seeing it doing to her ...deep down inside she knows shes a reck if its as bad as you say it is...
but the bottom line is she has to want help to get off it b/4 anything is going to happen
as a friend you should at least try....see if you can get her on this forum it may help her relise she has a problem and shes not alone we can help her if she wants the help
she wouldn't be the first to detox off roxys and with a little help and support she can probably kick it on her own...give it a try and post back to us on how it goes
sometimes being a real friend is hard to do but it beats watching her kill herself
