SUGGESTION FOR ANYONE WITH THE CLAMMY CHILLS......
WRAP YOURSELF IN A HEATED BLANKET INSTEAD OF A BATH, because with a bath you have to eventually get out and FREEZE!
Last night I fell asleep all on my own...except for this new heated blanket I bought lol. As soon as i wrapped myself up in it just to check it out, BOOM knocked out! Because being cold has been a non stop battle, and im convinced now that its not wd anymore, its just me being cold. I am very anemic and i never noticed it before becuz the pills would always give me a warm sensation throughout my body. Im happy to say that i finally feel like ME again! No more rls, no more wd....period!! So with that being said.....GOOOO BEARS! I was dreading that I wouldnt be able to watch bears vs the packers today..for anyone who doesnt already know...the packers are our biggest rivalry and today they play to see whos going to represent us in the super bowl! :D

Your doing good Lexus good tip on the electric blanket sometimes the simplest things make all the difference ....so happy to here your sleeping already your recovery is coming along really well count your blessings and thank God.....I wish you all the best in your recovery

But as much as I love my bears, the packers did great and deserved their win! (SHHHH dont tell anyone i said that lol)
And yes i agree, he does need to hide them, I cant make him get rid of them cuz he needs them right now but he'd stomp my a$$ if i took one lol. Hes the reason i made the decision to quit. One day he opened my eyes and got me to finally say OUTLOUD "i have a problem". Others have said "you have to quit, or you need to quit" but he made me do what I needed to do because I believe if someone REALLY doesnt want to quit, NO ONE can make them, not for good anyway. He got me to realize myself that I need to. Hes sooooo against me taking pills, i know that id lose him if i took one. The thought has come up to take one, not from him but my old dealer texted me and said he was getting some and asked if i wanted any, and for a split second i thought about it, than i told him, "uhhhhhh naaaaa" lol.
And now i got myself a pretty little snowmobile to occupy my time lol. Now that hunting seasons over, i gotta do something active outside LOL!

And yes, its 9 days clean yiipppeeeee! Its crazy cuz i see ppl on tv saying "im never gonna be normal again, im never gonna live a normal life" and i wish i could smack them cuz thats exactly how i thought. I thought id never have that immediate rush of happiness when you first start to feel the pill working, but ive been feeling that feeling in the last couple days without the pills, and its AMAZING!

If you do have pills in the house you need to get rid of them as they do call your name, actually they scream your name. We dont do well with that sort of temptation.....

An electric blanket was my best friend too. It made a world of difference.
Finally, a fellow Illinoisan and a fellow Bears fan! The Bears may be the underdog but nobody can come into Soldier Field and guarantee a win. I'm a nervous wreck!!

I too have been wd from pain meds. I wish I had known about the electric blanket. Oh well going on 2 weeks w/o mommas lil helper. It is a long hard road but I will make it! I joined a fitness club so I can focus my mind somewhere else.Good luck and take it one day at a time.
Lex...Yes!! Those blankets are a life saver! I just have to tell you,Sweetie, I read about the pills you have in the house. I know you've managed to stay away but they WILL call your name and you'll struggle. Ask your boyfriend to put them in a hiding place somewhere. Just looking out for ya!!
