I just found some old post about "no desire for sex".Whew! I was so scared to ask the question..And again this board has my answers..Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for this site...I have talked about wds, cravings, all my other problems. Wanted to ask, but didn't have the nerve to ask about my lack of desire since hooking up with hydro..Thank Goodness now I know where my desire went..
Thats me, finding my sense of humor again..I was always so crazy and I had lost it for a while..I have got to tell hubby about the duct tape and popcicle sticks.LOL Hey man, we are from Arkansas, we love that s***! AIN'T it great to laugh you a** off again? You gave me the biggest laugh I have had all day..Sorry I was so long in seeing it...but had to get ready for grands this weekend. LOL My 5 yr old grandson asked me the other day when I was gonna start looking like a grandma, I laughed my butt off and told him "not in this life time" Thanks for making me laugh..Its 11pm and I HATE nights lately...
sorry so long getting back...Yes my hubby is home 1 wk and gone 2wks. He works for a oill co. and has to be on location..I can go. I haven't gone much since starting my affair with hydro..but now its over and I'M BACK..I call it my going to the spa. He has a great bunk house, home away from home. The guys that work for him call it "Pauls condo" I just can go there and get away from everything, just relax and spend time with him. Right now he is in LA. about 2hrs away from home. I plan on going next week. Young people think 50-55 your over it, but (close your ears kids) I love having a empty nest and it being just me and him.:)

For me on hydro i wanted all the time but im a man and wanted all the anyway and on hydro you can be like the energizer bunny, on suboxone i had to resort to hillbilly viagra duct tape and popcicle sticks hope i didnot offend anyone with HEY IM GETTING MY HUMOR BACK YEEEEEWHOOOOO!!!!!
I think most people who have struggled with addiction and gotten clean have found out how much more enjoyable sex is when you are sober. Thats not to say that its ever really that bad but it seems like theres just more real emotion with sober sex. Thats not to mention that alot of opiates and anti-depressants for that matter really decrease your sex drive and for some men how well they function. Just another reason why being clean and sober is much more enjoyable than the rollercoaster of addiction. It weird that we dont here more about this topic, although I suppose alot of people are still in the process of getting clean, but it could actually be an added incentive for people to quit.

Does your husband work out of town alot?? I know nighttime can get lonely but sit back and enjoy "your" time.
He left yesterday (tues) for 2 wks. But, I am going to visit him next wk. I told him we were gonna have our Spring Break..LOL I will go Tues and stay until Sun. I call it my going to the spa. Just laying around watching tv, reading, cross stitching, spending time with him. I am so restless tonight. I am getting where I hate nightime. The house is empty except me, the dog and 3 cats. That goodness for computers and this site.

It is back...My husband said I'm killing him..LOL But he's got a smile on his face. I bet he was happy to go back to work Tues.He said his back is hurting.LOL
