I used to refer my boyfriends choice to use as a "lifestyle". I don't say that anymore because there in no life in using. Being here shows you want a life not that demented place you were.I am praying for you that you find your peace and strive for a LIFESTYLE of sobriety.
I appreciate all the support guys. U start to realize that if you choose to put yourself around it, you will eventually give in.

We have all been in your shoes. The important thing is that you stopped now. Learn from your mistake. Yes we do have choices and i am very glad you chose to not use today. Do the same thing tomorrow~~sara

Hi and don't be so hard on yourself . All of us on here have done the yo yo ride ! Took me 4 times to get clean . Just stay focused and good luck to you ! Jimmy
Hi,,dont beat yourself up over this. You know what you need to do. In the beginning its very important to stay away from people/friends that abuse drugs or have a supply handy. In the long run to maintain your sobriety you may have to let that friend go. That is easier said than done. NA if very important and you need to surrond yourself with people that will support you and get a sponser,,,someone you can call when the cravings kick in. You just need to be real protective in the beginning of yourself. You do have a choice every day. You control what you do to yourself,,in the early stages as you know that too is easier said than done. This addiction is a mind f*ck. Keep your gaurd up.We all have relapsed one time or another,,but we always learn from that. You can do this!!~Bkitty
