So after the appendix another 180 lortabs. That's all it took ... liked it... I could pop 2 n.b up , house spotless, no pain , was goin threw domestic violence and could escape... granddad died, I went from a couple a day to 30-60 a day.. my liver would swell up , rub on my rib cage.. any way finally my nephew said some harsh ****, n got me methadone cuZ I wouldn't go threw withdrawal. So I did the three days of methadone two 10 mgs so 20 mgs in the morning and two 10 mg pills at night. I was ok..  it then I left my husband for good, was still messing wit the pills but nothing like before but then I was in a car accident and fell down a flight of wooden stairs and within 6 months of each other, I told the dr I had issues with lortabs so the idiot go es me Percocet 7.5 two pills , every 6 hours and 10gs of methadone e every 6 hours. So I'd take all the methadone at one time n never really took my Percocet, traded off for more methadone and was up to 50 or 60 mgs for the last ,5 yrs. Do I hAve bin using or abusing opiates for 16 yrs, no real clean time. Today is my 4th day no methadone but 3rd day with nothing. How long should I exp

How are you feeling?  Today is my 14th day with no opiates, I still have some residual pain, and my motivation is nil, I have heard it takes about a month to start to feel "normal" again...hoping and waiting...Good Luck to you...and remember, it will get better...slowly, but surely!
