"However, I always got pumped up on hydro too and would often times not sleep well, although at the time I did not care because I would just take more the next day. "
So right on with this statement. well, when they still gave me that "pumped up " feeling of course. now they just make me tired and mean.
I detoxed from hydro years ago and it was like a walk in the park compared to tram, which I just went through. What a drug to choose to relapse on! I think the comments above are correct. However, I always got pumped up on hydro too and would often times not sleep well, although at the time I did not care because I would just take more the next day.
Tram though is a whole different ball game. For the opiate withdrawal part, that should help and your dose may need to be adjusted. If you are doing this without a doctor though, please be careful because it is easy to go from one addiction to another. It takes about 7 days or so for the trams withdrawal all by itself because of the other neurotransmitters it messes with. Kind of like an antidepressant. If you are also on one of those, it will definitely give you the symptoms you are experiencing. Take it slow, work with a doctor if you can, and keep posting here for support. Tons of experience here. All the best.
i did and the anxiety was very bad. i didn't have the lack of sleep but the bajiggity feeling was pretty constant. i used hydro to come off of my tramadol and still felt the w/d's that managed to surface. it has been a month and the anxiety still comes and goes but it's not nearly as bad now. good luck.
Hi! I'm awake, too! It's possible that you're still having some withdrawal symtoms from the Ultram. Actually, it's likely.
Do you think you're taking an equal amount of Vicodin to cover the Ultram? Also, The drug has an antidepressant and lack of that component will make you feel anxious. I'm sure it will pass but it's always a good idea to check with your physician.
