Singin' in the rain...

Hello everyone!  I just wanted to check in and let you know that while it is rainy and dreary here in FL, I am singing and as happy as a clam after my visit with my kids for the Easter weekend.  I hate to admit it, but it was only one of two times in almost three years that I wasn't stoned when I spent time with them!  But since I've been free of the oxys going on two months now, it was wonderful to spend time with them and be sober.  Of course I've never told them about my addiction and probably never will, but being sober made a huge difference.  We had a great time!  They took me to the zoo, my daughter made dinner for us on Sat. night, we colored eggs, we went to church together on Sunday morning, had lunch afterwards (they treated!) and then before I knew it, it was time to come home.  I stayed as late as I could and got home pretty late last night.  I know that our visits won't always be so perfect, because they still have a lot of maturing to do (and apparently so do I) but it really made me feel better, especially after breaking down last week.  I hope everyone had a great weekend, if not, at least an ok weekend, and I thank you all again for the support you gave me last week when I was at one of my lowest times!

Yep, dreary here too in titusville, fl... we should all get together.  I noticed alot of peeps from this forum are here in florida.. have our n/a meetings together lol.  But even though it's a nasty day today, we're all alive and healthy and breathing.  I used to take so many things for granted.  And in the future, I'm sure I will again but as far as right now, life is beautiful!!!  I'm so glad you're feelin' better yoda!!!  I'm so proud of you.  You are doing AWESOME!!!  Ya'll have a wonderful day.  I'll be thinkin and praying of you today, take care, Lil.  :)

Bad weather but you got good and positive energy going!!! Glad to hear how well you are feeling!  Lots of ups and downs with this lousy addiction thing but you're beating it and finding live without pills so much more fulfilling! Thanks for the positive post....I love to hear successes!

It's so good to see you happy. BTW, we have rain and cold up here in N. IN. Who sent it???lol  Two weeks ago we were in the 70's. I think that was to just tease us. I almost planted my flowers. EEKKK!!

I feel like we have such a supportive group of people on the forum now. I have more positive thoughts than before. It makes me feel good in my heart when I see posts from people that are happy because you all deserve that.

Easter was great for me, too. Oh..oh, I better run. I'm one of the mother-in-laws. lol  I try to be a good one though. I must be doing kind of ok or my kids would let me know.
