If you can taper than you can still work. If not just like Krissy says
And of course there is the mental apsect as well. Anxiety and depression can play a big part, especially if you took the meds for a long time. The meds steal all our natural endorphins, and give us that false feeling of happiness and emotions. So after we quit we need to build them back up in our brain.
Ok,that's not to to bad. I was on around that same dose, but I took oxycodone. They I feel like I'm gonna die lasted about 5-7 days. Then it's just lack of energy, sleep and appetite. That lasted me almost a month. I was also on a stronger opiate and for 11 years. So it's diff for everyone. I also fought through it like crazy. I forced myself to do things. The month wasn't terrible, nothing like that first week, just a real blah feeling.
Sorry forgot to mention that its hydrocodone 10/325 5 a day
Btw I wasn't telling you to go back on your doc just to get rid your energy back. Just saying that's the only way you would get it back. We all have to do this part to get clean.
Unfortunately the only thing that can give you that fake energy back during w/d's is more of the same drug you're taking. We can offer diff comfort drugs otc you can take to help with rls,and sleep. Also diarhia. Are you able to take a few days off combined with your normal days off? I don't know what you're coming off of or what dose,so I can't say how long your physical w/d's will last. Which even if I knew is only a guestimate and from personal experience.
