Suboxone Schedule Advice

I need advice on a Suboxone Taper Schedule

As some of you may remember, I tried Suboxone about a year ago, they made me throw up so much, I stopped taking after 3 days. Well, I totally forgot about those pills, and while moving some items around, I found my bottle on the bottom of one of my baskets. This started me really thinking -- I'd like to try this again, but I wanted to not be sick. Well, as luck would have it, a relative has some Phenergan (anti-nausea pills) they'll let me have for the taper.

What I'm looking for is advice on a taper schedule -- I have 21 1/2 - 8Mg Suboxone. I'm thinking about doing it slow -- a 3 week taper, but I'm not sure how much I should cut back and how often to do so to avoid getting WDs (or as little as possible), but not having WDs from the Suboxone either.

I really need to try something -- I'm taking 120Mg of Oxy's minimum a day, and it is getting more on a weekly basis. :(

Any thoughts on doing something like: 8MG - 8MG - 6 - 6 - 6 - 6 - 6 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 0??

That looks good in writing, but not sure how that would work in real life. Anyone with experience on a medium length taper, have advice?

Good Luck Taper as fast as you can, if its tolerable don't take sub. 4mg twice a day first 3 days go to 6mg 4 morning 2 late afternoon 3pm, for 2 days, go to 2mg twice a day 2 days. go to 2mg once a day, skip a day 2mgs, skip 2 days 2mgs. Then cold turkey. Good Luck we're with you however you do it.

You can't take Xanax with it because they are both respitory depressants and you COULD die if you mix respitory despressants i am not saying you will die but you could. Just call your doctor.    

I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU ASK A DOCTOR RATHER THAN A FORUM. THE ONLY REASON I KNOW THEY ARE BOTH RESPITORY DEPRESSANTS IS FROM HEATH LEDGER'S  the actor WHO JUST DIED. 

 I am on Sub know and only take a 1/4 of a pill when i feel the w/d and the past 2 days it lasts me all day BUT EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you that is why you need to ask a professional. Respitory depressants are nothing you want to mess around with.

Oyea -- One more question -- I remember my Dr telling me not to take anything like Xanax with it (not an issue), but I do take Ambien at night to sleep -- is it safe to take Ambien at night, if I take my Suboxone in the early AM?
