Suboxone headache cure

Hey everyone! I'm new here & but have been reading posts for a few days now. You all seem very helpful and your insight has been encouraging. I'm hoping you can help me....I've been on 12-16mg of suboxone for 5 days now and i keep getting terrible headaches. I feel fine other than the pain in my head. I dont get the headaches every day but have had them 3 out of the 5 days now. Just want to know if this is expected and if there is anything i can do to help take it away. Any help is appreciated!

I didn't realize that.  When I got a bad headache I thought I was on too high of a dose and lowered it and it went away.
Thanks.

headaches are a common side effect of taking suboxone...really doesnt matter what the dose is...i have heard people who take 1-2 mgs complain of this...and i still get them from time to time on 10 mgs...

You might be taking too much.  WHen I started I took too much and I got rebound headaches.  Try lowering your dosage.

Good morning - the pharmacist told me that HA is the most common side effect of Suboxone.  I didn't get one, but my sub doc said that if Tylenol didn't help with any HA he'd try a nonnarcotic HA medication like Midrin.  Try Tylenol or Ibuprofen and see how you do.
