Suboxone withdrawal

I know everyone is going to think I've lost my mind but that's why I'm here.  I was on Suboxone for probably 6 yrs and slowly tapered down until I was taking 1mg am and 1 mg pm.  Everytime I tried to stop, went into severe withdrawal.  So, here comes the good part.  I go to my regular Doc and get 100 Perco 10's and start taking them 1 every 4 hrs and I can feel the effects of the Perco (which makes me think the Suboxone is pretty well gone)  btw, I failed to mention I had stopped the Sub 10 days before and have now been on the Percs for 7 days.  Every time I get near that 4 hr mark, I have WD again.  Now, I don't think it could be the Perc but how could it still be Sub......I guess I need help desperately before I end up getting addicted to Perc but that might be the easier WD route.  Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Please don't start giving me a hard time, I already know this is probably not the way to get off Sub!!

You have some good advice above. I second the idea of getting what's necessary to help you through withdrawals and start thinking about a block of time to set aside for yourself so you can finally go through with kicking the stuff. You'll meet a few people on here who have kicked sub. We're here to support you as you go through the tunnel and out into complete freedom. Just learn everything you can, formulate a good plan (which includes aftercare) and shoot for complete freedom from the bondage of opiates.

Hey Stentman....
You and your sub usage is very much like what mine was.  I am a 10+ yr. opiate addict who was then put on suboxone and was on that for 6.5 years.  I began at 16mg/day and tapered down to 2mg/day......1mg morning....1mg in the evening.
I'm on day 17 of my detox and I am still feeling the effects of rls, cramping, bowel issues, mood swings...all types of things.  So yes you could definitely still be feeling the subs and being on the percs isn't really going to solve anything as you know.
Hang in there and take care of yourself.  There are a number of threads that cover this, but yeah, wds suck.

We're all crazy around here. Don't worry about judgement around here. Part of the problem is that it takes awhile for our natural brain chemistry to kick in. It is the Perks and the subs that keep your receptors blocked. It takes 21 days for your last sub dose to leave your body. The thing is, you have to avoid all opiates to heal. Unfortunately there is no pain free way out. I believe in having a solid plan. Get a good vitamin, protein shake, EmergenC, and stay close to the site. Did you do any aftercare in your sub program?
