If you read the post on the "intense headaches" below you'll get a idea of my situation...

I'm starting to taper, 2 days in a row now I'm at 7 perc 10/325's from 10-12 a day...

When my tapering is done I have 2 suboxone 8mg pills. how much dosage is that? do you think that'll be enough? anout how long will that last me after taking 10-12 10/325 perc's a day for 2 years....

I know I can break them up into quaters even eights maybe? any guidence will be cool...thanks guys :)

And do me a favor, listen to Lightnin Hopkins.....Man o Man he is by far the best blues musician to ever pick up the guitar...I love that man. Are you buying Suboxone on the streets? Gotta ask.

You do realize it is a program and should be followed. Buying it other than at the drug store..with a  prescription is addict behavior. You not only have to put down the drugs, you have to get beyond that behavior.

yeah, sorry hun you might get 2 days tops out of the 16 mgs...you can try to stretch it, it cant hurt, but my experience is that the first week or so you actually need a higher dose of sub, until your drug of choice is out of your system...i dont believe it will be enough...unless you are one of the lucky ones where 2 mgs will help you with your withdrawals...it certainly cant hurt to try...i came off methadone so i took the full 32 mgs for 5-6 weeks...i have since lowered it to 10 mgs...but the first few weeks was the toughest for me...but methadone really is a whole different situation...go to my profile and do some research...i have alot of information on suboxone there...

why are u tapering? just jump off of the percs. the subs will hold you a day prob. go see a sub doctor and get ur own. wait till ur in full W/D to take them or ull go into precp w/d. go to www.naabt.org for more info on sub

Hi there,  first of all, sorry to tell you but 16 mgs of sub might just be enough to get you through the first day.  You can stretch it out and take 4mgs every 4 hours, also you shouldnt take them until at least 12 hours after your last perc.  Really until you have signs of withdrawing even minor signs, such as yawning, runny eyes and nose.
