Subs or not?

I had a three year addiction to 10-15 10/325 percocets a day.  I went to detox for four days in August and stayed clean until October (not very long I know).  I relapsed onto Vicodins (since my drs. all figured my game out a long time ago) and now take 10 10mg vics a day.  I would like to quit again and have a friend that offerred to give me 3 suboxones that he has.  He's claiming I can take them for the first three days since that's when it's the hardest (I was given meth the first three days I was in detox..and came out feeling good! Just a little tired with the no sleep but had traxadone and neurontin to helo with pain and sleep but got through it pretty well...just felt tired at night which is no big deal since I work 7-2 most days and only until 6pm on tues/thurs. Can someone advise if this iwould be a good option since I CANNOT take any days from work off...I work m-f so I have sat and sun to feel like **** but don't think its enough time unles I stop on Thurs night because I could get through fri at work no problem and then have sat and sun to feel like hell...would I be able to go to work Monday with no problems or will I still feel like hell???

Do not take sub unless it is given to you by a doctor .

i just got off the10s clean for three weeks now thinking about going on my meds that i stop taking 3months ago.take one day at a time drugs suck.

It is so hard to say how you will feel since everyone is different. But 10 vics isn't a whole lot..what about tapering?? I know for some that is impossible, but if you think you can it might be worth it. I understand about the money thing and no insurance, I was without insurance for a while and it just makes you feel stuck and so controlled by outside things. Most likely youi would have flu like symtoms that last 5-7 days, but some say if you have detoxed before the second time is worse, so I dunno! I wish I could be more helpful, I do wish you luck, keep us posted.

How much is your life worth? Honestly, going onto Suboxone is a personal decision and one you'll have to make. Nobody here will advise you to take someone else's medication (or I'd hope they wouldn't).

Too much $$$...with no insurance it's gonna cost an arm and leg! Still paying off my $10,000 detox visit...worth every penny I know but I can't keep up with everything and the vics I get from husband's doctor...he had back surgery so it doesnt cost me anything! It will probably end up costing me my life if I dont do it soon but I dont want to get hooked on subs either so i was wondering how bad CT wd's would be from 10 ics a day...some say Oh thats all u take..u'll be fine????

Honestly, I would not advise taking someone else's meds...why not just go to a Dr on your own to get help?
