I did a modified Thomas Receipe (W/out the Valium or Immodium) and I DO have to say that I THINK it really is helpful....The l-tyrosine SEEMS to help with getting your neuro-transmitters back on track.. I started out taking 4000mg a day but found that that was WAY to much.... it can give you the trots..) so I cut back to 500mg a day.... Also, push fluids.... WATER.... and if you can muster up the energy.. a little EXERCISE works well.
I'm day 19 of coming off of Norco 8-10 a day x's 3 years for 2 back surgeries... x's 3 years c/t and I hafta say that EVERYDAY I DON'T USE IS A BETTER DAY THAN WHEN I DID! Hang in there!

I've tried the Thomas Recipe for quitting Norcos/Percs and it seemed to help me. Some people tweek it to fit their needs...
How much/how long were/are you using?
