Thankful for 60 clean days

Today I'm 60 days clean. That's the longest I've made wo a few slips all year. This is what I am most thankful for today beside my family. I think I'm going to make it this time. I hope everyone with cleantime (even if it's 1 day) takes the time to be thankful your on a good path in life. If you don't have any clean days yet be thankful you are motivated to be so and have made the step to come to this forum for help. May God bless all of you in your recovery and life. It does get better...just takes time and faith. Happy Thanksgiving Medhelp and all of the members on this forum. GBU, Corey

Thanks everyone. Your never clean too long for support. I can't believe I feel this good at 60+ days. I have been clean for 3 months a few times and 4+ months once and I felt normal most days then....sometimes had days when I forgot to think about pills. This is the best I felt at 2 months yet....and I've been at 2 months 4-5 times and things were not this consistent. I'm looking forward to the future. This takes time and is hard but please everyone, know it will get better and keep fighting to get through the first few months wo slipping up. It means getting your life back and actually wanting to live it again. God bless, Corey

Hi Corey I do not know if you remember me but you were one of the first to back me when I was coming of a 12 yr. habit of soma and a 240 a month Norco habit.. I did not realize at the time that the mass confusion I felt was due to stooping the soma suddenly with the norco.. It was a very confusing time for me but I remember you clearly telling another member what I was going through.. I appreciated it so much that someone understood.... I have never forgot you.. I would like to Thank you now for you made my experience understandable to me although you were explaing to some one else why I was so confused.. As I detox many years of Soma and Norco.. Thank you... Congratulation on your 60 day's you are an example to us all... sincerely lesa
