The Morning of Day 3

I got about 5 hours of sleep last night and was rudely awoken by the alarm clock! Im feeling better than yesterday. Is this strange? My past experience throughout the years (especially while binging) is that after 3 - 4 days I start to function more normally. But then I give in to the craving (although I've sworne I'd never touch the stuff again) and my cycle starts again.  This time I'm ready to break the cycle.  Just acknowleding that there is a cycle today is helpful. Any hints for today?

I have no ideas for you, but wanted to offer my support.  I'm 36 hours into cold turkey quitting hydrocodone so I feel for you.  I said a prayer for you to stay strong.

WOW , A friend to help with housework!!  That is fantastic...:)  I know you don't have a appetite...But try to force yourself to eat a really good meal ( if you are not throwing up)...That will help with energy so much...And stay hydrated...

An excuse to eat chocolate?! I'll definately try that. Just took a shower and have a friend (whose been there done that) coming over to help with housework. Feeling jittery and a bit headachey. Immodium has helped alot but Im still not very hungry. Will try some toast and vitamins. Thanks for the support. I find all of the honest info refreshing. Scary, but in a good way. Also appreciate the anonimity of the internet. I can be the real me here. Oneday, I hope to be the real me all the time.
