Thomas recipie question

I am getting everything staged for my detox. (its a start at least) I will be following the Thomas recipie. I have most of the supplies, even built a soaking tub in the basement (temporary but its big and it works)... the question I have is for his first line.

1.Valium or any other type of benzodiazepine like Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax etc…

Is that for sleep or something , never took that before ..Im a vic/soma abuser. should I ask the street guy for those? are they addicitve?  maybe theres a substitute... sorry if im new to those drugs..any response appreciated

I did not use them and survived the withdrawals.  IF you can't sleep then try benedry, nyquil (be careful), alteril (OTC med).  Not all at once!

The benzos are to knock you out for a few days. Tranquilizers. Benzodiazepines are very addictive and extremely difficult to come off of if you take them long enough to become physically dependent. I was using valium as well as oxys and hydros, and I took a copy of the Thomas Recipe to my doctor. I told him what and how much I had been taking, and he gave me enough Vals to last a week, 5mg twice a day. I was so freaked about starting another addiction/withdrawal, I flushed the vals after 2 days. I was
hurting for a while but  not too bad. The fear of the withdrawal was 10 times worse than the WD itself. It sounds like you are ready. I would look at the amino acid protocol as well. I think the aminos helped me more than anything.
