Three Months Sober :)

Hey everyone!! It's been a really long time since I posted on here.  I have been away for a while but, I finally have some time under my belt and I feel great!!!!!! I never ever thought I could get past the beginning but, for all those who are suffering please hang in there cuz it's so worth it!  I only have a few months clean but, as I look back at my old post it's truely a miricale that I have some time clean.  I love u guys all!! I could really use support! I am stuck at home for a little while without a car so I can't get to outside meetings.  If anyone has suggestions for me I am open.  I am so happy, I don't ever want to go back to that life!:)

HI ALI////good to see you back and sober CUDOS   sorry to here about your car but its always something....IBK has some good suggestions if you keep trying you will find a ride....if you where still using and where out you would find a way to score anyways I just wanted to chim in and say congrats again to you your off to a great start keep going to the meetings

Welcome back and congratulations! Three months is wonderful!!

Do you have phone numbers of the woman at your meetings? If so, call and ask for rides. Ask your sponsor if she can drive you or recommend someone who lives near you. You can also call the NA hot line and ask if they have a driver available. Early in recovery I volunteered doing that and many days it kept me clean. Knowing that someone else depended on me forced me to go to a meeting when my addict brain told me that I didn't need one.
