The fear is beyond discription when one does this alone. Ya know if someone could have been by my side like when we are little and mommy takes care of us It would not be so scary. Just that little bit of help knowing someone else cares does make all the difference. Also no one knows the pain and fear like those of us that have been through getting off methadone. To me methadone is evil. It takes mental support mostly and by posting on this site will give you support.There are so many people on this site that will help. All the way through.I my self have read so many posts and have had alot of help from doing so. Responces from other members helps so much!!! Post a question or just ask for help. You will get alot of people that will respond.    I my self am almost through getting off still hurting but will not give up.I don't know what exact section you posted in. Knarly will help you I"m not to good at finding my way around this site  Because it has different sections I have missed a few responces for this reason so look around and post more than once. Good luck!!!

I went to rehab and left the next day. I could'nt handle it but thats just me.First time there and didn't know anything about rehabs.A few days ago I would of liked to have gone back.They meaning other patients at rehab help the most I hope if you go don't let the admission process get you down its over fast. I having been there and walked away before receiving drugs (treatment) am for the first time since leaving glad I did go.Well I should be drug free instead of suboxone.God I know how you feel I started this in   Oct. 4 2011  about and have been suffering with all stages of withdrawal. All my own fault from screwing up a few times.Only to have to begin from square 1 again.Stupid me.Please don't relaspe its only gonna hurt in more ways than one.I hate these drugs so much now so much pain so don't if you have'nt already.If you did gotta keep trying untill there gone.Hope you can be strong GOOD LUCK !

You are right. Methadone is evil oxy evil its all evil and when you decide to stop thats when the going gets tough. Im proud of you for stopping. I am stopping.oxy. But i feel a huge relapse coming on so im checking myself.into rehab. Wish you the best
