another question ive been taking zanax generic brand for about two weeks now 3 times a day .25 milligrams.ive cut down to 1 a day but am still getting some anxiety. how long do you have to be on it to start to get addicted to it. this is my worst fear please help if you can

Hi Autume..you have only been taking xanax for 2 weeks?? It is possible that you may have a very mild w/d but i would keep tapering them down now until your done because within the next couple of weeks you would be addcited to them and w/ds are very very uncomfortable to say the least..and can be dangerous..you should just continue to wean from here..good luck..and keep posting..you can pm me if you'd like..

i do not know how long for the addiction but i do believe since it is a benzo it's not one to stop cold turkey.... someone will come along with a better answer than me!!! sorry... wish i could help you more!
