you are going thru withdrawl , tramadol, comes with some nasty withdrawl symptoms most of which you are having right now .yocan come off of it you are going to need to taper SLOWELY if you would like some help just let me know ..... I can write you up a taper schedule .........
I was taking Tramadol (200 mg a day at the end) for about 3 years. I started with one 50 mg tablet a day, then 2, then 3, then 4. I quit CT 8 days ago and went through WD like everyone describes. It was pretty bad. After 8 days clean, I am feeling better each day, but mainly cannot sleep. OK, I do not feel great, but better! I did not know about the seizures, so I guess I was lucky. I had tried to taper before but could not function at work, etc. My guess is that you will need to take TIME OFF to get through the WD.
Best wishes!!
I know it is best to taper off of them as well due to seizures...cut down a little each week if you can...u will make it...gotta be determined..keep posting
if youve only been on them for a month or a lil longer than this wont be soo bad itll still suck but youll b alright after a couple weaks i imagin so you should stop takin them as soon as you can cause itll only get worse
I was on Trams and was taking 8-9 day for over one month. I quit CT, not realzing i would experience WDs. At work, all of a sudden, i got the worst chills and began freezing. I couldn't sleep, felt sad and cranky, tired yet awake, all typical WDs. After the 3/4 day, i got real sad, so a bit of crying helps release some of the stress...(i'm a guy and i never cry)...i think by day 5-6, you should be feeling better and everything will start going back to normal....
hang in there; you will be ok; just be patient and strong. Try to get as much support as you can, it helps!
Good Luck!
Hi, welcome to the forum.
I am 14 days clean from a very small amount of daily tramadol/ultram. The w/d symptoms I experienced were very classic even tho my daily dosage was extremely reasonable. Anxiety, restless body syndrome, insomnia, the runs etc (very flu-like), for 5-6 days before things started getting better. I thought I would go crazy too.
You never mentioned how many tramadol you take, but from my experience that doesn't really matter, except the more you take, the more advisable it is to taper off before you quit. What you are experiencing is very classic w/d stuff. At day 14 I am beginning to feel more normal than not, the light at the end of the tunnel is real.
I hope this helps a bit

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place for help and support. It sounds like wds. Everything you are feeling is normal if you are decreasing the dose. You CAN NOT go off of ultrams CT...you can have seizures. I would continue to taper....
take HOT baths for the arms and legs...Look in the Health Pages (top right hand column) for the Thomas Recipe. It will have alot of things that will make you more comfortable while you get off the pills. Keep posting and reading...you will get a lot of info on here.
Good Luck!!
yup this same thing happened to me and today im 17 days clean from it and i feel really good
ive tried quiting 4 times befoer this final time and i always felt sick for months and ended up going back to it
this is what i did this time
i went to a doctor and told um i was depressed ect and he prescibed me celexa i quit taking the pills that monday and started taking the antis that day, they dont kick in for a 3-4 weaks but im sure theyve made this alot eiser. i stoped drinking pop and prolly went through a gallon a water aday ate alot of fruit started taking a good multi vitamin the first few days were the worst but then about the 7th day i got some energy back but still was reallllllly tired then on the 11th day i had to go to work and i was feeling kinda sluggish but once i got to work i kinda forgot about everything and since then i feel really goood
and every day i wake up now i feel alot beter its weird
i was takin up to 600mgs of the pills aday so im not to sure where your at with it
the anti helps because tram messes up your sarotoninin lvl and the anti brings it back to normal
