Hi Olduser. I do not know what dillies are ? but I do know about kidneys I'm on a renal diet now I have one in stage 4 the other was removed a long time ago. I also could not use the Thomas recipe nor vitamins as it is too harsh If you can let me know a lil more about your drug and your detox maybe I can help support you thru the process.. I'm now getting weekly blood test to make sure my kidney is functioning as it almost shut down due to the use of Motrin.. What you are takeing and how long your taper is I do not really know But Congrats on not going up and down. It is important you stay on schedule and also stay hydrated. Are you allowed to drink as much fluid as you want? our is it limited. also can you eat a half of banana ? I could not eat a whole one either for it would have been too much potassium.. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone and their are others of us out here that have and are fighting your fight.. Keep a Positive attitude as that will help Tremendously ! Be kind to yourself. lesa

Pure Buprenorphine, or Subutex, is not very toxic, according to the pharmacologist who manufactures it. The Naloxone in Suboxone is what makes it toxic to the body. Most OD cases in the UK have been dealt with in home, hospital visit was not necessary and no severe effects where reported. It's subligual administration helps it go directly into the brain and the low dosage is undetectable in urine. It would probably be okay from a physical standpoint, but that is not a certainty.

On the other hand, the detox is pretty long and very hard mentally. Intestine and sleep issues are long lasting and hard on the body, aside from toxicity. If you are as stubborn as me, the patience thing is hard, it could be harder with subs. The half life of sub is 6 times longer than dilaudid, so I don't think that is a good choice for you to get totally clean. As a maintenence drug, subutex provides some partial agonist pain relief and prevents withdrawal while on it.

If you hope to use alternative health care, I would avoid subutex and stick out your doctor's plan. You shouldn't take suboxone, but subutex is getting hard to get due to the abuse potential it has. Hang in there and try to be patient. I don't trust doctors easily either, so I get that, but sometimes we have to find one we trust enough to set us free. I did. I hope this info helps in some way.
