Ultram

Can anyone tell me what is so addicting about Ultram? I am kind of confused because it is not considered a narcotic but I have read on here that it is addicting. Can anyone tell me why? Thanks.

also seen as you are an addict i would dump them 800 mgs of mortrin is about as effective as 25 mgs of tram

many have had seizures i never took more then prescribed so i got lucky i don't think ga took tram

~~Be very careful with the Ultram. It's nasty stuff...take it only when needed and don't increase it,ever!  Could you possibly take something else?

Thanks again everyone. I always feel so much better after I read everyone's responses. I will be super careful when taking these. I am only suppose to take 1/2 a pill at a time. They are 50mg's each. :)

@GA Guy- Did you ever have seizures from taking that many?

trqams are bad news..specially if u have a history...if u r checking out this drug..u need to know they r addicting
trams r narcotic like...but affect the same receptors as narcotics affect....plus they have an AD effect that will kick ur rear end when u try and get off of them..so they r a double whammy!  it is the depression that is worse than narc wd that causes a tram user to return to using....for the minimal pain relief they give..this drug is so not worth it
take some tylenol instead

I want to say one other thing when people takes doses like 6 at a time of tramadol you are at high risk for seizures .

Thats absolutely not true i never took 6 at the same time .I liked a heck of alot more then anything else i ever took different Drug .

Thanks everyone. I guess I don't understand it because when you take one of the pills they do not give you the same effect that a hydrocodone gives you. Some people have told me that you have to take up to 6 or more to get the same kind of feeling. I just don't know why someone would want to take that many pills.....just seems weird.

Its a synthetic opiate and yes it is addicting it work it to ways as a pain reliever and a an ssri anti depressant so coming off it is like within from to different drugs at once .I have wd from several other drug  tramadol is by far the worst .

also its says right in the drug  info on it that it is habit from and should NOT me used by people with addiction problems

Because it's an opiate and works on opiate receptors. It also acts like an antidepressant...which makes it doubly debilitating when withdrawing. I'd rather withdraw from fentanyl than ever withdraw from Tramadol again.
